About me
My name is Rehan Aghvinian (she/her). I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 8 years of experience providing individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I earned my Master of Arts in Social Work and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
I have worked for years in community mental health providing culturally-sensitive individual and group psychotherapy to culturally and linguistically diverse adults presenting with a wide range of concerns that include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and substance use, grief, parenting, self-esteem, stress, relationship and family conflict, and women’s issues.
I take an individualized, integrative, and holistic approach to address each person's unique needs to harness their strengths and empower their journey towards long lasting change. Through a blend of various therapeutic techniques, I aim to accompany you on your path to building healthy coping skills and exploring your strengths.
I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about your story.
